Pregnancy Massage

Our therapist (Amanda) has undertaken specialist training in pregnancy massage that is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. Pregnancy massage is a deeply relaxing and restorative treatment. The full treatment lasts 90 minutes, although a modified 60 minute treatment can also be arranged upon request. This nurturing massage is performed in a comfortable side lying position and helps with common issues arising in pregnancy such as tension, muscle strain, anxiety, back pain, nerve impingement, swelling, thoracic outlet syndrome and carpel tunnel syndrome. A selection of rhythmical and repetitive strokes is applied, along with gentle mobilisation techniques, all of which are tailored to suit your specific needs.

1 hour (£40); 90mins (£60)

Reflexology (pre-conception, pregnancy and postnatal)

Our reflexologist, Fiona, holds a specialist qualification in pre-conception and fertility reflexology. This specialised reflexology service helps support you on your journey into motherhood. Pre-conception reflexology gives your body a chance to become clear of toxins, and combined with good nutrition, exercise and a healthy lifestyle, assists your body in reaching an optimum state for conception. After the first trimester of pregnancy, reflexology helps to maintain general wellbeing by reducing stress and inducing a state of deep relaxation. In the third trimester of pregnancy, the frequency of treatments can increase and assist with some of the side effects of pregnancy such as backache and swollen feet. Post-natal reflexology can help rebalance the body and mind, and restore your energy levels.

First full treatment, 1 hour - 1 hour 15mins (£40): Includes full health consultation and general diet, lifestyle and wellbeing history, followed by reflexology treatment. Following treatments: 1 hour (£40). A 30 minute taster session is also available for £20. This includes a consultation and therapeutic foot massage
